Thank you, AVGeek for sharing. Useful information. Mine is a 1200ZE, too, and I haven't had any suspension issue until now. And, as Brick, I haven't noticed differences among the Soft-Standard-Hard settings either.

Sadly, you were wrong: SuperTen isn't a bullet proof. And you're right: ABS is its Achilles' heel. Mine failed and underwent reparation for that, too. Almost all and every SuperTen suffers catastrophic ABS module failure.

I live in Colombia, SouthAmerica. Here at, there's a local garage, Yamaha authorized, that repair those ABS modules (almost all and every SuperTen has that failure). Mine has undergone that failure and reparation, with very good result. If you can't find help at USA, you can send the module...

Riteris, I feel asame like you: like the bike is doing it on its own, just in order to irritate me. I have the same problem ( exactly that way ). Since a week ago my S10ZE 2014 performs that same show. How did you correct it ( if you did ) ?

And now...I've that exact issue. How did you correct ( if you did ) your problem ? Mine is a XT1200ZE 2014. Just a week ago started in that exact way, as yours: ABS light goes on sometimes, turns off for a while, then on again, without a clear pattern. That's why I seeked for this thread...and...

Stefan, I'll follow your advice and go for the lithium battery. But I've a slow overnight black&decker charger and a fast initiator for fully discharged conventional battery. Could them be used on the lithium ion batt?

Yes. They're offering me a BTZ14S in a "BS" brand ( French, they say), at less than half the price of Yuasa. I'm choosing among those both...any advice ?
