Noco NLP14 On Sale at Amazon (Canada) - $149

I have been eyeing that battery myself. Should I be concerned how it interacts with the regulator/rectifier of the S10? I read that older R/Rs may get fried when being used with Lithium batteries. Does anyone have tens of thousands of miles on their S10 with a lithium battery? Sent from my...

Uneven wear on rear Anakee 3

This is definitely the furthest I have ever taken a tire down and I was getting a little anxious and taking it easy that last ride, but it definitely felt like it went particularly fast at the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Uneven wear on rear Anakee 3

Recently replaced my Anakee 3 after about 11,500 miles. At the very end of its life (really only the final 500 mile weekend) I noticed this extremely uneven wear pattern. Anybody have an idea what might have caused this or seen this before? Could this just be a tire issue? It’s not like the...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Put the 2014 with 43,000 miles back together again after putting new steering head bearings in (All Balls) and doing a full fork service (oil, all seals, bushings). I don't know if it was the notchy bearing, the old oil, the worn bushings (who didn't look worn at all) the dry seals, or...

    Steering head bearings

One more question here: the Service Manual clearly says to lube the steering head bearings with Lithium Soap grease which I believe is the same as the White Lithium Grease I got to lube my shift shaft. But it seems nobody on this forum is using Lithium Grease and there are all sorts of other...

    Steering head bearings

Thank you. That certainly makes sense but is also disturbing, since that is the bearing with the smaller rollers, so more pressure/load on a smaller surface. I guess next time I will be getting OEM bearings (unless these last longer regardless). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Valve adjustment - more lessons learned

It doesn’t say so indeed, but it is so tight and would be so much easier that I wondered if that may be a better way next time I need to check my valves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Valve adjustment - more lessons learned

I finally purchased the Service Manual and noticed that the camshaft removal section comes right after engine removal. Has anybody here dropped the engine to do the valves and found that the improved access was worth the extra effort? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Steering head bearings

So I got the AllBalls bearing set but I can’t tell which one is supposed to be top and bottom. One has clearly bigger rollers and so I assume it’s the bottom. It has the number 99-3513. The other one with the smaller rollers is the number 99-3521. Anybody know for sure? Picture below. I could...

    Steering head bearings

    Steering head bearings

Hi there, My bearings needed to be replaced since they were very notchy but I am struggling to get the bottom race off. Already destroyed the roller cage. Any great suggestions beside buying a very expensive tool or cutting the race off with an angle grinder? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Service Manual Recommendations for 2019 Super Tenere ES

I am finally looking to buy a paper copy of the service manual but none of the sources say if there is a different manual for the ES and the non-ES version. Can I assume there is only one version?

Fork Bushings - what parts to replace?

Looking at the fork parts on Partzilla I am wondering which ones are the wear parts to replace when doing an ES fork service with new bushings?
