    Smart Turn System

What is the purpose of self canceling turn signals? Does the handlebar switch button fail on the Super Tenere? I have never heard of that problem.

    Final Drive Bearing Replacement

Thank you so much for that detailed bearing/seal replacement procedure. That is really nice of you to show us how to rebuild the final drive unit. This kind of process cannot be found in the service manual. Hopefully this can be put up as a sticky in the tech section.

    Altrider crashbars

They are actually very simple to install. Just time consuming is all. No instructions are needed. The upper bars can be zip tied or taped on one side while you install bolts on the other side. Main thing is to leave everything loose until it is all assembled.

Tire life of OEM Battle Wing 501/502 E spec and a few other questions.

Good advice and in reality I probably could have went a lot more miles on those tires. I wish I would have measured the tread depth when they were new.

I give up, who is a BANG-WIZ on Zumo 595?

Simply save your waypoints as favorites. It will then show up as a heart on your map.

Tire life of OEM Battle Wing 501/502 E spec and a few other questions.

I'm amazed at how many miles some of the guys are squeezing out of a set of the OEM Battlewings. Mine were well worn and squared off at 3,100 miles. The front's were almost down to the wear bars. Any tire that can go over 3,000 miles is a winner to me. Off with the old and on with the new...

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

And heck you know how it is. Almost any first year model is going to get a pretty penny from most dealers.

    Altrider crashbars

The upper crash bars are a must if you drop your bike in the rocks. Mine saved my radiators in a simple tip over.

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

I'm thinking all it will need is a better seat for long days in the saddle.

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

No matter how you slice it all the bikes you listed are very heavy bikes. I'm willing to bet older guys like me have no desire to pick one of these beasts off the ground. In some cases you simply can't lift one up without help. The MT-07 is a street bike. Anything under 500lbs is light for the...

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

I've been using the Tubliss on all my dirt bikes for quite a few years. On the T700 only the front system will work. The T700 rear rim is too wide. You have to replace the rim for it to work.

    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

Steve, I had that same basic bike for close to 35,000 miles. It was a fantastic touring machine that could be converted to a sport bike with quick removal of the bags. I did nothing more than slap on a set of spare Renthal dirt bars, brass bar inserts and bar end weights. Vibration problem...

    Harbor freight lights

I have no regrets getting my Baja Design lights. You really do get what you pay for. OTOH, those Harbor Freight and Amazon pods are a fantastic value. It's really nice to have so many choices from budget to high end.
