Just bought a 2010 gen 1 Tenere.
After helping fix / repair & otherwise faff about with my mates 'Tenors' over the past couple of years I thought I'd join the ranks of 'Tenor' owners after taking the piss out of them for so long.:):):)
My day to day work bike is a XT600e (So a 1/2 pint 'Tenor' ;)) which I've had for years and its never let me down. Hopefully its grown up off-spring will be the same.
I've got a few jobs to do like painting / powder coating corroded brackets and a couple of modifications here and there.
Living, working and still breathing in the fresh air of Herefordshire, England.
Cheers!

Used to live in Brigend (Brackla) in the 80's - 90's...
With the ECU flash, can I just send them the ECU and what sort of gains did you have?

Cheers Rob.

bloody hell, i lived in brackla for a few yrs coychurch now, but barry boy for 40 of them.

yep you can send chris your ecu for flashing, i rode there because i,m an hour away he had it on the dyno for 4 hrs,

he flashed both mods seperatly, but my gen 1 like all was strangled in the first 3 gears, but now it pulls like a train full revs in all gears plus huge torque improvements.
but its for me getting rid of that awfull strangled first 3 gears

Chris is indeed a wizard with ecus, he did my zx14r. I did think about using Dynotech for my S10 as they are only about 6 miles from me but I’ve changed my mind and will ride the 70 miles to see Chris. Booked in for October £300

The original silver sided Tenere, our first view here in the US. Then we waited, and waited...

Forgot to mention, it's exactly like my first S10. Sold it to get an Africa Twin, what a mistake that was....
