Hi all,

I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for all the information that has been posted on theese forums, it´s a truly wonderful resource for a new ST owner such as myself, the latest thing I read up on was spoke tension and I did find out that some of mine needed a little more tension.

I have been riding since 2003 with a lot of km:s around Europe, had a 5 year intermission involving a cager without a roof which was fun but last year I felt that I needed to get rid of them two extra wheels that always did feel like they came in the way for my quest for the ultimate lean angle....

Enter ST number one (actually my second one but number one in my relapse), V4 and decent characteristics on gravel at best.
When I started to search the field for knobbies suitable for the Pan and found the Pirelli Rally STR I finally got a hold on myself and thought that I needed to get back on track and find me a dual sport more like the XRV 750 and 950 Adventure that suited me so well back in the days.

Enter ST number two, a proper one this time with three tuningforks on the badge, low mileage -13 and farkled to the max, luckily enough with the white and red paintjob which I´m sure have been deemed to be the fastest one....;).

Nowadays I do my riding closer to home and up here gravelroads of all kinds are abundant so I hope this bike will be a good fit for me and my on road riding.

Once again, thank you all. I´m glad I found this corner of thee Interweb.

Take care and ride safe.

Welcome :)
I guess that you are now in the "daylight all the time" zone.
Hi Nikolajsen (och tack), you´re right about the daylight, even though I still have some 130 km to the arctic circle there is little darkness to be found, unfortunately this year it feels like I´m also in the "frozen all the time" zone....
I need to consider moving south of the border to find some warmer weather and possibly some "hygge" too :)

Hi rob,

Your bike has not passed without attention from me, I like it a lot.
Single seat is something I have considered, do you have some kind of extra rack on top of the plastic original part underneath?
