I'm drawing a similar blank, looking at Fowlers UK parts diagrams.

What is wrong with your existing harness - can it not be rewired if necessary? ............. or maybe buy the ebay item?

I am trying to locate the part number for the wire harness that goes on top of the fork for the ES model. I am looking at the online diagrams and can't find it without any doubt. I see number 22 and 25 in the Electrical 2 but won't put a dime on it.

2016 ES

probably looking like this : https://www.ebay.ca/itm/14-Yamaha-XT1200ZE-Super-Tenere-Front-Fork-Sub-Wiring-Harness/383382376837
I can tell you that #22 and #25 (in diagram Electrical-2) are the same part, except that #25 shows to have had a few design changes. The "updated" part would be #25

If your fork connectors look like this, then your part number is: 2KB-82509-10-00

Thank you very much sir

Far out!!! What happened there?
some light grinding work ignited the tarp that covered it

Darn!
Hopefully you get it all sorted and cleaned-up.
Please show us some pictures after you finish putting her back together.

By the way, as I posted in the marketplace, If somebody has a non working dashboard with the housings intact for a transplant, let me know. Yam has only the top housing part and I need the bottom also. It irritates me to pay that much for a whole new one just because the housing is a bit melted. The numbers written on it are truly mine, not someone else or to start back to zero. I want mine! ....
