I order a set of upper and lower crash bars from revzilla. Is there any speciality tools I might need to put them on

Just wrenches and allen wrenches. Can't remember the sizes needed. But If you don't already have a set of metric allen wrenches and a set of metric box and/or open end wrenches...now would be the time to buy some.I order a set of upper and lower crash bars from revzilla. WHAT!!Scratch away, did you buy the bike to be a porch pooch or what?
Good choice.
They have installation instruction pdf s for both on the AltRider website. There is an installation video for the lower bars as well.I order a set of upper and lower crash bars from revzilla. Is there any speciality tools I might need to put them on
Eric thanks for posting the link, I don’t have AltRider Crashbars but was interested in seeing the mounting instructions since it seems like a lot of folks have problems mounting them. They have installation instruction pdf s for both on the AltRider website. They are actually very simple to install. Just time consuming is all. No instructions are needed. The upper bars can be zip tied or taped on one side while you install bolts on the other side. Main thing is to leave everything loose until it is all assembled.Eric thanks for posting the link, I don’t have AltRider Crashbars but was interested in seeing the mounting instructions since it seems like a lot of folks have problems mounting them.
Here is the video showing how to mount them
I wish I could say the same. Problem is when that nice smooth fire road turns into a nasty baby head rock pile 50+ miles into your ride. I have come to the realization It's important to make smart choices where to take this bike. It's really easy to get in over your head.I'm happy with mine. I think the lower bars are enough to protect the radiator in a drop. Maybe it helps that I'm not riding this 600lb beast through rock gardens. ;-)
