Pan and I keep running into these bums! Been leap frogging for a few days, hooked up again at Coldfoot.

Today, both pairs rode up the Dalton up and over Atigun pass. Snow showers, freezing fog and temps ruled out Deadhorse.

On the north side of Atigun.

Sounds about right. When we were in Fairbanks it was Adventure Bike Central. Damn near every bike that passed was a capable of going off pavement. About the opposite of what we saw in the middle of the USA.

We were having breaky this morning and a gaggle of 8 - 10 went down Airport Way. Mostly the Bavarian crowd, prolly heading to Starbucks.

Back in 2016 a friend and i rode to Prudehoe, 30 degrees and snowing on Antigen Pass, both of our bikes were spinning and I was getting pretty worried we wouldn’t make it to the top, rained all the way to Prudehoe, the next day it snowed 6 inches so we had Carlyle trucking from Ice road Truckers fame haul our bikes back to Fairbanks while we flew down, it was quite the adventure with a lot of great memories.
That trip was about 20 days and it rained EVERY day , sometimes all day !

Having both would be great. But, me being po' folk, I don't get to have the "and", it had to be the "to".
I was a to guy but after riding the Tenere most of the time the FJR seemed way to small for my 6'1" frame. Seemed like the knees were way to high so I sold my 2013 FJR.
Miss the acceleration but I'll get over it.
