This has been quite the eye opener. Now what happens when the word spreads?
Not sure quite what you mean here? There is a recall on cc/front brake switch? I finally got mine into the dealer and had it replaced yesterday (front brake switch), but he didn't say anything about recall. I also don't know why you would have to remove the crash bars? If we're talking about the brake switch, that shouldn't have anything to do with anything. Or not... I'm easily confused these days.I just got back from the dealer, (SG Power for you Victoria folks), and they confirmed yes, my 2013 is part of the recall. They are going to order the parts and are good with waiting until May when I insure it again for me to bring it in. I inquired about getting charged extra as I noticed someone was, but was assured if I brought it in stock, I would not be charged for anything. That means I'll have to remove the extra upper crash bars I've added to the stock ones. Not an issue.
Same one as always, D&H Cycles in Cullman, AL. Be aware that you must call them to get the YES pricing. It is not on the web page, nor will they respond via email with pricing. It's worth the call and they make it easy to do.So what dealer has the hot deal on the warranty plan now?
Yamaha has been sending out offers to extend the 4 year YES another 1 or 2 years. I got mine when I had maybe 6 months left on a 4 year YES plan. Once you have the card, you can call D&H and they can verify eligibility and give you a price on adding more years.Mine is due to expire in a little over a year. I think I heard it can still be extended?
What the heck is up with the spam post?
Had to get out my spam remover...Well, I guess it is.....spam....
(Sorry, could not stop my self)
Wheel diff seals?Just renewed mine for two years. About the same cost as the real diff deals that were leaking and covered.
