I'm in NZ at the moment, saw a grey super Tenere today. I was heading towards Christchurch from Oamaru. Only one I've seen this week.

Hi Evled,

I have just purchased a 2010 65k S10.
Flew into Hamilton last week with my son (12) and rode it home to Rangiora (North Canterbury). Clocked up 1665 Ks during the 5 days and loved every minute of it. It has a rear brake issue at the moment but waiting on a master cylinder kit from Partzilla. No OEM available here or Aus.
Might see you out and about some day.
Cheers Mike

New Plymouth rider here mate.
Next time you head this way I'll attempt some time off and try to stir a couple of friends into coming along.

Mike. Did you buy your bike from a bloke in Matamata by chance?
If so,that was a really well sorted bike and the owner was a bloody nice guy.

Yes I did Beastie and yes the bike has all the fruit but....... I lost the rear brake and overshot a red light in Tauranga and then spent the next 5 days bleeding the rear brake twice a day to get it, me and my son home safely.
The ABS unit was nackered and they cost $2500.
Seller not interested and didn’t disclose the bike had an issue so not that nicer guy unfortunately.

I actually don't know the guy. He came over and talked with me while my brother attempted to get his Explorer running in Taumarunui. Seemed like a good bloke.
I've just done the whole brake/clutch fluid thing myself and can't express how thankful I was when I cycled the pump and both ends did their thing.
Bummer about the ABS unit. Takes a bit of the shine off of a brilliant bike.

I just bought a 2010 in Auckland and after a quick run down the 'other island' to the south..... I like!
This is going to make the TT2000's much more comfortable for me in my old age.

My favourite part of this Country.. we quite often stay on the club moorings in Homestead bay on our way to Durville. Welcome to the club and hope you enjoy the S10.

Just a quick question here mate. Did you buy privately or through a shop?
