A Podium lockout for KTM, after Sam Sunderland managaed to get his 1 hour penalty overturned. Impressive again, but they do invest in the project - it's a majot team effort. Yamaha's glory days passed when Peterhansel moved to cars.

Commiserations to Richard Main - the 53 y/o Brit took a nasty fall on the penultimate day & broke his pelvis.

Good day

Van Bereven (the top Yamaha rider with De Soultrait) did confirm on facebook that the engine’s thermostat has failed (remained in the close position) causing damage to its engine only 10 miles from the finish line of the before last special. He was #4 in the overall at that time.

De Soultrait did finish in 6 place overall.
