This is the bike (Triumph Street Triple) that I traded in on my S10, during a 2 week camping/hiking/riding trip..........

It's gonna be so much easier with the S10

Not much gear to show as it all fits nicely into the two 40L Caribou's, GIVI E45 and the tankbag. I'm in the market for a drybag and looking at the GIVI, TwistedThrottle and Kriega for longer trips. This spur of the moment trip was meant to be along a secluded gravel road, however threatening skies led to this near the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. I was still able to camp next to the Santeelah River but did not have to ride up and down a muddy road with 90/10 tires! Last pic is Bald River Falls, a must see if you are on the Cherohala Skyway.

The bike packed up ready for its first camping trip.

The left pannier help SLR cameras and lenses, the right my clothing and toiletries. The top box held clocking equipment and stuff like a first aid kit and puncture repair outfit. Soft stuff like the tent (Coleman Cobra 2) mattress and sleeping bag, both doubles ;) . The yamaha tank bag held a compact
camera and phone stuff, sunglasses etc. The GPS was a TomTom rider 3 mounted on a Touratec adjustable screen mount and GPS kit.

The riders seat has been levelled but left with a slight forward angle, nowhere as much as original. For those interested, the helmet is a Givi HPS X.01 Tourer.

The bike handled like a dream, even when touching 115mph, but mostly cruising around 75-80 around the twisty country lanes.

Packing for camping is easy for only one person. Packing for camping with two people is an exercise in minimalism. Here we are fully self-contained for a weekend including 6 liters of water + 5 more in the Camelbaks.
The orange Seal-Line bag on the tail holds tent, groundcloth, 2 Big Agnes Long Ranger sleeping bags, and pillows :p
The Jesse Odysseys L.L. Bean duffel bags hold camp stove, utensils, food, water, clothes, rain gear, misc camping equipment.
Wolfman Expedition tank bag holds a 2-liter Camelbak, electronics, hat, misc personal items.

This trip was our pre-run for the Colorado Rally ::013:: We'll stay at a hotel in Ouray but camp 6-7 days on the way from and back to Las Vegas.

Arrived at the campsite.
