This is the very definition of subjective - but I really like the way the Super Tenere looks - elegance in engineering (by which i roughly mean function-appropriate solutions only) and visual economy sings to me - when I look at my bike there is virtually nothing there for appearance's sake only, while being clearly over-built in some places, it is both big and compact, and that is a very satisfying thing to look at for me.

When I look at other bikes i see single sided swing arms, pointless plastic, and .... well there's enough on here about the cylinders sticking out the side, or chain-drives, ridiculous software and an insane obsession with HP.

I'm sure the press is in a large part to blame. If I had no hands I could count on my fingers the number of times I've cared about adjusting my screen on the move etc.

That blue road bike is nice. It is amazing how much nimbleness we give up hanging skid plates, crash bars, top boxes, trailer hitches, dual-sport tires, etc.
