I was with a friend when he just bought a set of 35L Back Country panniers and I was really impressed. If I'd not already invested in my set of cases, these are what I'd get. Their Reckless horse-shoe bags would look good on my KTM 690r.
Each bag is three pieces, the plastic mounting board, an external shell, and an internal dry bag. One of the impressive things is that the external shell is actually not the usual nylon or cordura. Mosko makes it of a rubber-impregnated fiberglass which is tough as nails. They had a bag which had been through a 70 mph slide, with the bike ending up going through rocks before coming to a stop. The outer shell was ugly but still intact and the also-stout inner dry bag was un-touched.
There is a selection of really nice top bags (shown as 30L and 40L duffles) which come with back-back straps. They also sell a locking strap with a steel cable in it for security.
Anyway, here's a link and the thread is started if somebody has the bags and wants to post up. http://mosko-moto.myshopify.com/collections/all
