New feature on 2017 Super Teneres!
« on: December 27, 2016, 03:37:37 pm »
https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/adventure-touring-dual-sport/models/super-tenere

If you look carefully in the box on the right side of the page, you'll see that the 2017 has a new feature called "cruiser" control!  No explanation as to what it does.  I'm hoping it will force long lines of "cruiser" bikes to pull over so you can pass! :D

No need to call security, I'll show myself out.

 ::025:: Don't see much change from the 2014-2016 S10.   I didn't see anything about an ES model?

Want to see the T7.  Should show up at about the same time the S10 gets a major makeover.

And since no one else sees the original post "cruiser control" as a seriously worthwhile option, I would pay for it. The thought of getting all the moroons riding Harleys in groups of 15 riding along at 35mph in a 55mph zone and being able to have the control to send them all home or at least pull off the road to let others pass would be a great. Now we need additional controls, like diesel pickup no muffler control, and Honda Civic ect no muffler control. Add these to the 2018 Tenere cruiser control.

That's the spirit!   ::026::

How about a proximity triggered moron repellant shield?  Or a zap-ray that disintegrates a cell phone that is being used by a driver?  All very useful options!

All in good fun!   ::015::

I was thinking once that a cell phone blocker would be a cool thing to have on the bike. Then I got to thinking how much more they'd be distracted fiddling with their phone trying to figure out why it quit mid sentence.
