Adventure Day at Niehaus Cycles, Litchfield, IL
« on: August 31, 2016, 04:31:27 pm »
My local Yamaha/Honda dealer will be having an Adventure Day on Saturday, Sept .17. As part of this event, he has asked me to lead some short, 20 miles or so, demo rides featuring several of the adventure style bikes in stock. These include the Super Tenere, Africa Twin, in both manual and DCT versions, VFR1200X, CB500X and various adv style bikes from the pre owned inventory. Stop by and say hello, have some free food and take a ride if you are in the area. Their ad guy had a bit of fun with the poster for this:

You're only young once.
BUT, you can be immature forever! :-)

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice.
In practice, there is.

Hi Brick,

Yeah, they are great folks and have lots of cool  events like that. It is a pleasure to be a small part of some of them.

Hope that you are continuing to heal well, my friend!

That will work. I put on 2250 for MFPB last week.

I was all excited about riding up and then I saw it is the same date as the Air Force Marathon. Maybe next year.

If I weren't going to Rick's Ride that weekend, I'd brave the twisties of Illinois for this.  ::025::

It was great seeing you and David last weekend, Fred.

Well, I was looking forward to showing you where we ride down to the end of the cornfield and turn left for thrills.  ;D

It was great seeing you also, BD.
