58 here.  This is my first Super T.  From the responses, looks like it appeals to an older(more mature) crowd  :)

Riding since 10.  Raced enduro and HS early '80s.  Got to AMA and ECEA A classes then quit racing after an injury.  Decided Dual Sport was more fun.   It's nice to be able to do a little dirt with the Super T when the mood strikes.

Fifty this year. Been riding since I was 20 and have had a lots of bikes over the years, including a few Yamahas. My previous favorite Yamaha was my TDM850, now it's my Super T.

I turn 58 this September, I will also be retiring then. It is going to be a great year for riding next year without work getting in the way.  ::008::
Retire?? at 58. That was early ::008::, will you get pension at 58?, or have you did some "money savings", at your own?
In Denmark, when born between 1963-1966, you dont get pension before 68. Unless you have did some savings called "early retirement", then you can retire at 65.
The goverment keeps setting the retire age up, because wil will be needing "working people" in a few years...

UPS.....off topic ;) sorry

57, but sure feel younger some days and older some days.

Still ride HD and S10.  Love them both. Best advice I ever got was "Ride your own Ride"

Everyday is a good day to ride!

Both, I have banked away a fair bit in the last 30 years hoping I could retire early. The company has a pretty good pension plan as well. I won't get anything from the government until a time I choose between 60 and 65. Personally I would have like to work another year or two but I am facing more and more issues with my arthritis and spinal problems.

62 in July. Social Security starts in August. I'm going into my 5th year of retirement, best job anyone could ever have. I started riding at age 8 on Honda mini-trails and have owned over 100 motorcycles, and hope to own a few more. As a kid we lived on the edge of town and there were miles of trails right across the street...good times.

That only works if you stick it out with one job (25 year service) mostly government type, but with so many people now 'chopping and changing' there only a minority that get to do that, also, within EU, the governments are all increasing pension age. Soon the phrase, 'Cradle to Grave' will really mean that!
As I get older, I am no longer surprised at what I know, I'm surprised at how much I don't know.

I retired last year but was coerced back with a lucrative consulting offer.  So I am collecting a pension (24.5 years service) and making a consulting fee. Pension alone isn't enough to live off of, even with SS, which I'm putting off until at least 66 (full retirement age for me).  Still it was a better deal to accept the early retirement offer that came around last year than to wait for my 25th anniversary, which would have been this month on the 23rd.   I put in 14 years at a previous company that is also paying me a pension, albeit much smaller than my more recent company.  Once I get some major house projects finished I'll probably quit the consulting too.
