SOLD SOLD SOLD!

Hey Everybody,
I decided to sell my Super Ten after 12 years of great ownership. Unfortunately it's become a little too much for me to handle. My stubby legs have always made it a little of a challenge to own this bike, but it's been such a great bike, so I just dealt with it. Now problems with my hand/wrist area in my old age are making it hard to just move it around the garage, or even operate the clutch after a while. I have another lighter bike with an assist and slipper clutch which is still easy enough for me to ride, so If I replace the S10 with another touring bike, I'll probably look for that, or maybe even a Honda DCT transmission.

Bike is located in South Huntington New York 11746, on Long Island.

Original owner, got it new in June 2012, low mileage, has 29 K so far. Never crashed, everything works, ready to ride. Kept in a garage on a battery tender. No drag racing, burnouts, wheelies or stoppies! Never commuted in hellish NY traffic and never had the extra weight of a passenger. I’ve never even used it for any off-road adventure riding, so it has none of the excessive wear and damage caused by dirt thrashings. So far, it’s had an easy life for an adventure bike, or any bike. I mainly toured with it on long day rides, weekend and overnight excursions, and my extended vacation trips to the some of the curviest mountain roads in the north and south east.

Here's a list of Super Tenere standard OEM Specs and features as it was sold in 2012:

  • Engine: 1,199cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin DOHC, 8 valve, 270-degree crank
  • Horsepower: 110 HP
  • Torque: 86 lb-ft
  • Wet Weight: 575 lbs
  • Fuel Capacity: 6.1 gallons
  • Front tire – 110/80-19
  • Rear tire – 150/70-17
  • Wheels – tubeless, spoked
  • Fully adjustable suspension
  • Shaft drive
  • Six speed transmission, hydraulically actuated wet clutch

  • Dual setting traction control
  • Dual ride modes, (Sport and Touring)
  • Adjustable windscreen
  • Adjustable Seat Height: 33.3 to 34.3 inches
  • Center stand

Over the years I’ve done a lot of modifications and added many quality upgrades to improve performance, function and comfort:

I’ve installed all the accessories and done every mechanical upgrade to all the bikes myself. Except for mounting most tires, I’ve performed just about all the maintenance and repairs as well.

Price: $6500. OBO. Cash in person, paypal.

If you decide you want to pay and arrange for professional shipping, if we set up a predetermined date and location, I should easily be able to assist getting the bike on the truck. Fly in and ride home could be an option too, there are three major airports located between 20 and 30 miles away.

Bike has not had the spring cleaning yet, so rear wheel and other places are a little dirty in these current pics. Any questions or concerns, let me know on here or by phone. Send a private message with your name and phone number (or ask for my number) to discuss anything. Because of scam calls I generally don’t answer the phone if not in my contacts, but I will call you back asap if you leave a voice message or text your info. Thanks for your interest.

I know motostevie and this bike quite well.
I will attest that his S10 has been extremely well cared for, diligently maintained and presents real nicely in person.
Anyone who ends up pulling the trigger on this scoot will have an excellent example of a S10....
