Hmmmm ... I'd not be getting rid of an FJR anytime soon. I need both machines for what I like to do. Having said that the XT1200Z will do everything very well but the way the FJR gets it's power down is very cool too. I just did 350 today on mine and the bike perfomed superbly. Will do it again on Monday .... admittedly way above the speed limit but hey. ::)

at that rate swagger you may not be around long enough to enjoy the Tenere. DOesn't that make the FJR almost 200 mph if you were going 350?

;D ;D That came over wrong .... I did 350 miles on mine today is what it was supposed to say. Thankfully although very quick it wont reach anything like that kinda speed.

No I'll be cruising at ~ 80-90mph on Monday ... feds and roadworks permitting. I'm going from Oxford to Cambridge ..... apart from the architecture the place is swarming with women so I'll be in my element. Them girls love a big machine :eek:
