Was the 550km all ridden in the Netherlands or did you ride into other countries? I never get the opportunity to ride into another country living in Australia. I can ride 3000 kilometres north and west and still be riding away from my house. 1500 kms to the east and I end up in the ocean.:eek:

I was on a ride to Uluru (Ayer’s Rock) last year and met some guys doing just that. They were on KTM 890s. Ironically they had to turn back because part of the route was flooded.

Thanks Rob, that is what I meant. I have fitted the stabiliser brackets and they have made a huge difference to the stability of my GPS unit. Dom

When I got my bike, it had a Tom Tom GPS mounted on the handle bars and it blocked my view of the other instruments. I fitted one of these. Crossbar GPS mount There are a lot of different mounts available. SW Motech have several and Ram do as well.

What year is your S10? I believe the Gen 1 bikes had a thinner cross bar. Someone on here will be able to confirm that. If your bike is later than 2014 (Gen 2) and you don't have these, Ladlesport stabiliser brackets I'd be getting some too. I mounted my GPS on the accessory crossbar and it...

Today I replaced the accessory power socket with something more relevant. It has a USB-a, a USB-c and a volt meter as well.
