Each time I've changed the air filter, it's looked the same and the little oil collector at the bottom of the airbox, always had a bit inside. I've also used OEM filters for everything. The process of cleaning, spraying, drying the K&N never appealed to me. Old filter out, new filter in, done.

I'll have to look at my receipts and dates but this is the 3rd air filter change in 48,000 miles. So, it'll average about every 16,000.

When I can, I fill to the brim. That said, I've gotten as much as 105 miles before the first bar disappeared. That was modest 40-60 mph speed limit on backroads. Normally, the first bar drops between 75-85 into a typical ride.

I replaced my original 2017 battery with a Lithium in February. 1st, I couldn't believe how light it was!!! I thought it was hollow. 2nd, I can't believe how fast the starter spins with it. It doesn't sound nor does it struggle to start. I'd recommend one in a second.
