This is because the bike is running on its start up run / worm up software..... Once its goes thought this "start" software and its starts self diagnostics it picks up the code and tells you. (about 10-15 miles down the road) Ive seen this before...

    Whining noise from engine.

It looks like silver metal in the “V” portion of the pleat? Is that just “optical” with the camera. Looks like it’s full of silver metal….

    Whining noise from engine.

OK. Let “us” know what the pleats of the filter look like. Look at them with a flash light. ‘Torch’ If it was my bike I would pull the pan next. Is there way you post a short video of this noise?

    Whining noise from engine.

Ha-Ha..... Yes Sir ! ? If it was at my shop I would: 1) Cut open the oil filter... take a look in the pleats.... Look for anything suspicious (Ive found surprises before) 2) Drain the oil.... look for suspicious "metal" or 'gold' flecks in the oil / pan 3) Pull the pan.... look for chunks...

    Fork seal replacement

RCinNC just mentioned the seal cleaner.... I agree with what he mentioned........ I will add, with my experience with the Tenere. Ive worked on MANY sets of Tenere forks. IMOP, "most" of the time when a seal is leaking it has something to do with the material coming off the guides. People...

Can Someone Identify These Wires ?

You can run the little Aux plug power for GPS. You can also use that as a power trigger for a relay. You can’t power a light bar with those tiny wires unless you want a BBQ bike……. Use waterproof relays.

    Fork seal replacement

No not hard. The top ‘nut’ is something like 43 mm I believe. I’ll have to go double check. Make sure to change out the guides if your in there. (IMOP)

    Revalve, broken peening. Game over?

Makes sense.... Have you found the cause yet ? Reason why ? I would suggest looking at that top out spring and make sure its not broken or crimped down on the coils... Just make sure it's OK....

    Revalve, broken peening. Game over?

Just for reference.... Here is the "stock" Ohlins top out springs I pulled out.... Yep, your 100% correct ..... neither picture is representative of the Super Tenere... Just a very fast "idea' of the top out spring and a possible place to start the "look over".......

    Engine for Super Tenere 1200 - 2013

What parts are you looking for? Are you looking for a short block or long block? What country are you located ? What is wrong or broken with your engine? Can you post a photo of the damaged engine / parts / bike ? What is your preferred shipping company? (So everyone has a better idea)

    Revalve, broken peening. Game over?

Very fast GOOGLE explanation.... I miss spoke... Not a bottom out spring..... Its a Top out Spring.... Sorry..... I think when this is taken apart it will be evident...... If not, start looking at the 'top out spring' area.....

    Revalve, broken peening. Game over?

IMOP...... WAY too small (soft) for off road and your weight....... NO DOUBT ! IMOP, you should be at a 1.0 or larger with thicker weight oil, Etc, Etc, Etc.. Also, the length of the spacer you can add a few mm to for some tuning..... Side note, If you want decent off road with having...
