It's just cosmetic. It will get to a point where the spokes just have a gray appearance and not really progress further. -

Speak to your dealer, see what they say, this I believe is a quality issue but not structural so just ride.

my bike did the same, in 2013 after just 3 months but were really bad i spoke to dealer back then and they put a warranty in to rebuild...

Our water is naturally soft out of the ground. So, there has to be salt in it. I don't have the corrosion or chips.
