Ah, didn't follow that thread for more than a couple posts.
I thought the skis that worked on pavement was a pretty cool thing though... ::025::

My wife wants to get one. She says she always wanted to drive a transformer. I would totally ride the hell out of this thing, too. 15" front wheels give some decent tire options.

My dealer will be getting one in as a demo bike and I can't wait to ride it.... I'm lucky to live around some seriously twisty roads so will report back after the ride.... if i'm still in one piece...

It'll be utterly bonkers and brilliant or.......  :'(

Plus the 15" are mildly retarded. ::009::

Depends where you live........... I'm lucky, living in Switzerland, they fix the roads quickly  ::018::
I would not buy one if I lived in the UK though, potholes are a character of the road system.
As I get older, I am no longer surprised at what I know, I'm surprised at how much I don't know.

Having just driven the length of Italy, they have not improved their own since 2000 BC either  ::025::

We got a glimpse of the Niken at the UK Bike Show last week. although we weren't allowed to sit on the thing. It's a big old beast, far larger/wider than I was expecting. It will be interesting to get some real world feedback when they arrive.

I have to agree... The roads in the UK especially Devon are a bloody nightmare.. Mud ..Gravel ..Holes... But hones our skills.. :D

Now for good tarmac you need to ride Wales... Ribbons of the good stuff.. Excellent mountain passes and very quiet.. Unlike Austria/Switzerland which tend to be full of Netherlanders in camper vans!! ???

Hence two front wheels...
