coastal Texas is starting the healing process , our eyes and prayers should be on Florida and the east coast here on out..... with out formally changing the title of this post , Irma , hurricane from hell, will be the focus ....

Harvey and Irma are now history , jose may or may not be an issue. last few weeks have changed lives forever. if there is a lesson it may be that we should remember how small we really are. we new it was coming could not do a thing but watch and wait. life is precious and so very brief , seems but a moment ago I was in my 30s now I am a few months from 60... i've been happy i've shed my share of tears, material things come and go , maybe while we are here,  we should for a moment , remember what's really important in our lives.... you have to determine that , for me its family and friends , probably for most of our forum members too. as time moves forward and the distractions that come with it , we should try and not lose focus..... and remember those who have lost everything..... for we are truly blessed to live in this country ..... no matter how many hurricanes come this way.

Been home a few days, but pretty busy, as you can expect. What a mess!!!  I still can't believe there could be that much water in one place. Indescribable.

The good news is the weather is fantastic! It's like Harvey took the summer heat & humidity with him, wherever he dissolved to?

On top of that, today is even a reprieve from cleanup since I'm sitting in the waiting room, "waiting", for the birth of "Brenda Sunshine Lambert", my 3rd grandchild.

All is well with the world, as I choose to see it. :)

Thanks for the report Snake.  Though we have never met I feel like  I know you and was relieved when I saw both you and Silver Bullet were far away when Harvey hit.  Congratulations on the new grandbaby!

Bless you and your family Snake ::008::
I told my wife the same thing you told your boy, when our first daughter joined us.......  ::013::
As I get older, I am no longer surprised at what I know, I'm surprised at how much I don't know.
