Greatings from Sherbrooke Quebec
« on: December 03, 2017, 01:25:21 pm »
Hi everyone.  I've been lurking for some time a found very usefull info on my bike on this forum.  I bought my Tenere last January.  It was a demo with 2500km (1550 miles) on the clock, the dealer knocked $4000 off the sticker price and side cases were included.  I added Oxford heated grips and a Tomtom Rider 400 so far.  I had four bikes prior.  Two Kawasaki, a 2004 Mean Streak and a 2006 Nomad, then I got a 2009 FLHTC.  Sold the Harley and was supposed to take a break from riding for a year or two but met my girlfriend who had a Sportster.  Her dad sold me his Honda ST1100 wich I kept for a year then we both got new bikes.  She got a 2017 Triumph Tiger 800 XRT and I got my 2016 Super Tenere.  A big change from the full dress cruiser worls but the S10 is myy best bike yet.  I love to go see what's at the end of the dirt road instead of turning aroud for fear of chipping the paint.  Glad to be part of the family.

a simple hello, Desoto.....

Well hello from a fellow hoser!
I was born in Deauxville just down the road  :)
I hate snow, and think I've almost moved far enough away to keep myself from shoveling it  ;)
This is a great forum, and these ST's are great bikes that can do it all...
