One of our members did worse to his bike and it's been held together for a lot of HARD miles with screws and metal straps.

Interesting. So it doesn't seem to be something super rare. Any idea how he cracked his?

Good news. Dealer says this can be done through the YES warranty and they can do it on Wednesday :)

Idea?  LOL  Umm - yeah

Trikepilot's a really good rider who likes to challenge himself. His bike has seen a worst-case torture test for the Yamaha designers, so "Fancy" has been on her side more than a few times. Here's one of his stories from riding coast to coast on the Trans American Trail:

I just checked my 2015 standard with 17,200 miles and it is not broken (yet).

Wondering if the vendor supplied support brackets would help prevent this type of breakage??  I am going to order a set for $25.00 = money well spent as I run a tall windshield.
