I installed a mcCruise on mine. It worked perfectly for thousands of miles. At 70k miles. I took it to a dealership to get the wiring recall done while it was getting the valves checked. I didn’t try the mcCruise before I left the dealership. Got it home and my light bar and mcCruise didn’t work. Had to make another 200 mile round trip to return it. 2 months later got it back. The guy at McCruise told me it is independent from the recall work and shouldn’t have been affected. The customer service at McCruise was outstanding. There is no telling how long the tech was on the phone giving the mechanic direction on fixing it. Different time zones didn’t help. Good luck. They really do work great

i,m hoping that i,ve just been unlucky and my map sensor has failed at the same time, cruise worked well on the way home but have error code 13-14 saying map sensor. the week he has had it has got worse and worse struggling to start and backfiring etc, so my map sensor must be on the way out, i know of 4 guys in the uk that have had map sensor failure,
the mechanic has a new t700 in the work shop its his bike the after market map sensor was as bad as the one oem on the bike so he,s gambling that it needs a oem sensor, so if he puts the t700 one on and it fixes it i,m sorted but don,t know yet

frank has sent me from mccruise how to disable the mccruise so you have the bike back to standard with out removing it all together so lets hope

JOB DONE.
yep update, turned out there was nothing wrong with the mccruise as the company said all along and they have been superb helping out to, i was unlucky very unlucky, had this bike 10 yrs its never missed a beat, but the same time the bike went in for the mccruise my map sensor started playing up and gave up the ghost this week, rowan put the map sensor on off his t700, took the bike out today did 30 miles running sweat and no warning lights,
so i just went across the road to the yamaha dealer picked a map sensor up and drove the hour to him should get the bike back tomorrow
